SentryNet began it's life as Central Monitoring Service in 1987. Greenville, Mississippi is David Avritt's home-town and therefore the home of SentryNet. David began Central Monitoring Services with one goal in mind, to become the best in the industry. The name SentryNet was chosen as the industry grew and dealers began to have need for more than just monitoring. SentryNet began to offer answering services and business consulting to aid dealers in more effectively serving their customers.
As the industry expanded so did SentryNet, so much so that more room was needed to handle the workload. SentryNet announced the grand opening of their second central station in Pensacola, Florida on April 1, 1997. With the second station SentryNet was able to offer premier service to its dealers. No longer just hot redundant computers, but now our stations are able to provide back-up for one another. Should either station be involved in a disaster all telephone lines and data are transferred to the other in moments.
After 25 years, SentryNet had outgrown the infrastructure of the Mississippi Delta and its physical location. The Memphis, Tennessee location was chosen and no expense was spared in making it a state-of-the-art central station. April 1, 2012 the Memphis facility was fully operational and had replaced the Greenville Station.
SentryNet provides your customers with a live central station around the clock. To top that off both stations are UL/FM certified and have the required generators to keep all the computers up and running in the event of power loss. SentryNet Operators must pass the recognized SentryNet Certification Course and many are SIA certified. SentryNet now responds to over 100,000 customers for over 500 dealers across the United States.
We feature Digital Monitoring, IP Monitoring, Video Monitoring and Two-Way Voice Monitoring. We also offer Cellular & Radio Back-up. Our dealers have exclusive access to all of their accounts via NetConnect, a secure internet site and SNapp via most mobile devices.
